Vinyasa to Yin

  • This class is a hybrid of styles that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and mellow. The first half of the class is devoted to a fun and active Vinyasa Flow. We will move through sun salutations, standing and balance postures, linking each asana with the breath and intentional transitions. We will build strength, work out the wiggles from the day, and fully warm the body before we move to the floor for extended postures following the Yin tradition. The second half of the class is entirely on the ground where we will use many props (blocks, cushions, and blankets) to fully support ourselves as we rest into longer holds and passive stretching. The aim of Yin Yoga is to slowly and gently stretch the fascia and other connective tissues of the body. We release control of the breath and allow each shape to inform our experience as we sink deeply into a practice marked by conscious relaxation. This is a very well rounded practice that will help you feel into your body in new ways.

Yin Restore

  • This class is all about surrender. Easy, slow movements link passive postures we then hold for 2-5 minutes at a time. Come to let go and get comfortable in stillness. This is a great option for those who want to open up areas of limited mobility, balance out an active day, or ease stress and anxiety. Bring your own props from home if you have them – 2 blocks, bolster, and a blanket.

Zen Yoga

  • In this class we cultivate spaciousness for you to meet yourself. Interweaving Yogic and Zen wisdom, these sessions offer room to explore the balance between internal and external expression with invitational āsana sequences and plenty of space for breath/prāṇāyāma and meditation. Come support your body, nervous system, and spirit in their authentic unfolding.
